My Mission

My passion as a Massage Therapist and Somatic coach is all about holding a safe and supportive space for you to self connect, discover a deeper sense of self-trust, and create safety within your body.

I believe that true transformation happens when you have the freedom to authentically align with the things that are most meaningful and unique to you.

My Story

For as long as I can remember, my life was fast-paced and filled with stress. 

As a Korean adoptee and an only child, I often struggled to find a sense of belonging in a world that didn’t reflect my true identity. Over time, this led to the development of various physical and psychological challenges, including anxiety, depression, panic attacks, eating disorders, body dysmorphia, addiction, and chronic pain.

The combination of the 2020 pandemic and my father’s passing the following year forced me to confront the habits that I was subconciously ignoring—people-pleasing, self-abandonment, dissociation, overconsumption, perfectionism, and workaholism. It became very clear that these patterns were no longer serving me. Through this realization, I saw how much of my life had been spent in survival mode and completely disconnected from myself. 

At that moment, I made a commitment to approach life differently and prioritize my holistic well-being. I embraced a slower, more intentional way of living, incorporating self-care practices, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation. I learned to cultivate safety and self-trust within my body, allowing me to break free from limiting beliefs and self-sabotaging behaviors.

As I deepened the relationship with myself, I also began reconnecting with my cultural roots, gaining a clearer understanding of who I truly am—physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. 

Now, I’m inspired and empowered to help others on their own path to healing and transformation!

That’s the reason I created my practice and named it Jconnected.

The 'J' honors my adoptive father and his family name. 'Connected' symbolizes my belief that genuine fulfillment arises from being authentically connected to ourselves and those around us.

‘Jconnected’ also carries the essence of “stay connected,” a mantra I strive to live by every day.

Massage Therapy

Massage Therapy reflects the harmonious balance between your body, mind and spirit.

The quietness and conditional presence of another is what can help regulate your nervous system.

A therapeutic, yet relaxing approach can alleviate chronic pain while somatically releasing any stored emotions.

Overall this self care approach can help manage stress, anxiety, and other challenges with mindfulness and body-centered techniques.

Somatic Coaching

A Somatic Coaching session focused on self-regulation, building self-trust, and cultivating self-connection is a transformative experience that centers around relating to your body’s sensations, emotions, and inner wisdom.

Each session will be completely client-led and free from judgment or unsolicited advice. While it is not a substitute for psychological therapies, it provides a space for you to create sustaining, authentic alignment.

Outside of the office you can find me enjoying nature-especially on our 10 acre farm with our horses, chickens, and dogs. I love cooking, strength training, hiking, exploring different restaurants, reading, sharing time with family and friends, and playing recreational volleyball.
